This policy covers the Site and our related communications (email, phone, text message, and social media messages). It does not cover third-party websites or platforms we link to, such as Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, The Knot, or WeddingWire, which have their own privacy policies.

By using the Site or giving us your information, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Information you give us. When you fill out an inquiry or tour form, call, text, email, message us on social media, or book an event, we may collect:

• Event details: event type, date, guest count, budget, and the name of the guest of honor

• Menu, décor, and service preferences, including dietary restrictions or allergies you choose to share

• Contract and payment details (payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)

• Anything else you include in your messages, reviews, or feedback

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent, the website that referred you, and general location (city or region). We collect this through cookies and similar technologies described below.

Information from others. We may receive your contact and event details from wedding and event platforms (such as The Knot, WeddingWire, Peerspace, Thumbtack, or Bark), from vendors or planners who refer you to us, and from social media platforms when you interact with our pages.

We use your information to:

• Respond to inquiries, schedule tours, and check date availability

• Prepare quotes, contracts, and invoices, and process payments

• Plan and deliver your event, including catering, bar, décor, and entertainment

• Send follow-ups, event reminders, and requests to review us

• Send promotions and news about La Venezia, if you have not opted out

• Improve the Site, our services, and our advertising

• Prevent fraud, protect our business and guests, and meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and serve you:

• Service providers who work for us, such as website hosting, booking and CRM software, email and text messaging tools, payment processors, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

• Event vendors you book through us or who work your event (for example, the chef, DJ, photographer, decorator, or security), limited to the details they need to do their job.

• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of La Venezia, our guests, or others.

• Business transfers, if La Venezia is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

• With your consent, in any other case.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar tools to keep it working, understand how visitors use it, and show our ads to people who have visited. These may include:

Email. If you contact us or book with us, we may email you about your inquiry or event and, occasionally, about promotions. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We will still send messages about an event you have booked.

Text messages (SMS). If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your inquiry, tour, booking, event reminders, and review requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of booking.

Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Event Photos and Videos

We photograph and film our ballroom, décor, and setups to show our work on the Site and social media. We post photos or videos where guests can be identified only with the event client's permission, as set out in your event contract.

If you appear in a photo or video we posted and want it removed, contact us using the details below and we will take it down from our own accounts. We take extra care with images of minors, such as quinceañera and birthday guests, and will remove them promptly at a parent's or guardian's request.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep inquiry records for up to [2] years, and booking, contract, and payment records for as long as needed for our business, tax, and legal obligations (generally [7] years). After that, we delete or anonymize them.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as password-protected accounts and reputable service providers. No website or system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Information about a minor guest of honor (such as a name for a quinceañera or birthday) should be provided by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
